About.

CREATIVE SOLUTIONS.

As a sound designer and visual artist I’m always in the search of relationships between hearing and sight, as a way to reach new levels in audio development.

I’m challenged to work outside my comfort zone, to obtain new skills and knowledges which can contribute to help my growth as a professional and as an artist.

Being an electronic musician and a sound designer I’m always trying to make music and sound collide, finding unique textures and shades, going deep in the sonic research.

My aim is to create something new, to develop the best techniques which can make out of any project a new world of possibilities.

Biography.

BIO AND EDUCATION.

I’ve started out as a musician playing the bass since early teenage years. During the time the interest towards music production began to grow, along with the curiosity in experimenting with sound.

In 2013 I’ve enrolled in the bachelor degree sound engineering course at Saint Louis College of music, Rome. Here while learning recording and editing techniques I’ve also got in touch experimental electronic music, which brought me to focus also on programming and visual arts.

Those programming skills grew stronger during 2015 thanks to the study of Csound at IADT in Ireland, Dun Laoghaire. In November 2016 I’ve also been selected to give a speech at the Csound30 conference about new musical programming languages.

During my last academic year before getting the degree I’ve got involved in video game sound design, which is my main activity and focus right now.

Work skills.

THINKING OUT OF THE BOX.

Having dealt with sound for different purpose such as video game, short movies and music production, makes me confident in working in many different environments.

01. SOUND DESIGN.

Strong creative and technical abilities, excellent knowledge of professional DAWs and digital instruments, such as Pro Tools, Ableton, Logic, Waves, Native instruments, iZotope, and more.

02. SOUND ENGINEERING.

Good knowledge of miking techniques, field recording, and able to work both on hardware or in the box.

03. COMPOSING.

Electronic music composer, with a focus on glitch, ambient, and drone music.

04. VISUAL ARTS.

Able to create deep connections between sound and image, using audioreactive tools in Adobe After Effects and Max jitter.

05. PROGRAMMING.

Over the Csound studies, self taught in c++, c#, unity3d, and max/msp.
